The SRC has decided to change the controversial name of its upcoming 'Positivity Week'. The week will now be known as 'Welfare Week' after students voiced serious concerns.

SRC Vice President Student Support, Jess Mc Grellis, in a piece for the Glasgow Guardian which announced the name change said:

"I am sorry for any offence caused by the choice of the name 'Positivity Week'. This was not our intention. I believe that there has been a misunderstanding over the concept and objectives for the week, and this misunderstanding has been caused by a poorly-worded email sent out by us to all students."

This is a great parody piece, but it’s not April the 1st…
