I’m one half of the sport editors at the Glasgow Guardian, writing about everything from university sport to the biggest international tournaments.

What I cover

I cover all the latest sporting events and news. I make an effort to cover a wide range of sports to make sure as many sports as possible are represented. A highlight is conducting interviews, as its great learning about the passion student athletes have for their sport.

Background

I’m from a village called West Linton in the Scottish Borders and I’m studying Economics. I’ve been writing for the Glasgow Guardian for four years now and am proud to write for the paper. Outside of journalism, I’m really into my running and am a member of the University’s cross country running club.
