The Students’ Representative Council (SRC), in collaboration with the University of Glasgow, is holding an International Symposium this Monday in order to explore the experiences of international students.

The event will be taking place from 9am until 4pm in the Senate Room of the Main Building.

The Symposium will include two one-hour focus groups for overseas students to discuss their time at Glasgow University alongside their peers. Staff, student and alumni speakers from the international community will feature throughout the day.

Students are encouraged to come along and offer the University feedback on how to improve the international experience.

16.7% of students at Glasgow University are international. The number of overseas students at the University has doubled in the last six years, according to 2015-2016 figures.

The Symposium is free but ticketed and places can be booked on Eventbrite. Attendees can sign up here for tickets until 5pm tonight.
