I am the Politics Editor for the Glasgow Guardian, covering a range of political topics relevant to Glasgow University students

What I cover

My writing focuses on current affairs, parliamentary based topics, and how young people can make a difference in politics. My work is intended to encourage the participation of students in political discussions, by touching on how we are affected by government decisions, and the changes that can be made by the new generation.

Background

I am currently in my final year at Glasgow, studying Politics and Philosophy. My degree, alongside my involvement in campaigning and charity work, has led me to think about Politics at both a theoretical and practical level, something that I hope is reflected in my contribution to the paper. When I’m not working on the paper, or studying for my degree, I will probably be found reading or trawling through charity shops!
