The Championships at Breahead Xscape, also served as a qualification event for the British Indoor Championships to be held in Castleford.

The team consisting of Connor Brolly, Andy Flynn, Dave Tarr and Matteo Crawford led throughout whilst the skiers were edged out by Edinburgh and Strathclyde.

Afterwards Race captain Ross Jardie commented on the success of the event, “Another brilliant event for us [gussc] and the results bode well for the British Championships in Austria over Easter. It’s gonna be huge event and these races are the last before it, so good results are key. The important thing was qualification for the next indoor Championships down in Castleford. The real pressure today was making sure people booked there places for it, We’ll be taking a a really strong squad down there and know that on our day we can compete with the very best”
